Tallahassee — The Florida Hospital Association is accepting nominations for its 2008 Hospital Heroes Awards. 

Please submit your nomination today.  A simple pdf form has been developed for you to fill out and e-mail to FHA.   This year's honorees will participate in a gala celebration in Orlando on October 16, 2008.  One of the ten Heroes will be named Hero of the Year at the gala.

The Hospital Hero recognition program honors ten hospital employees, selected by a team of out-of-state judges, based on essays submitted by hospital co-workers. A Lifetime Achievement Award winner is also recognized.

• July 16, 2008 (Nomination period ends)
  
• September 1, 2008 (Finalists announced in FHALink)
  
• October 16, 2008 (Awards dinner for finalists at the FHA Annual Meeting)
  
• October 16, 2008 (Announcement of Hero of the Year and Lifetime Heroic Achievement Award at the Hospital Heroes Gala)
