Congratulations to the following healthcare professionals who will represent their hospital and thousands of healthcare professionals across Florida as finalists for the Florida Hospital Association’s “2006 Hospital Heroes Awards.”  The “Hospital Hero of the Year” will be announced at the Annual Meeting of the Florida Hospital Association on November 16, 2006, at the Buena Vista Palace, Lake Buena Vista, FL.  A banquet honoring the finalists will take place Wednesday evening, November 15, 2006, at the Buena Vista Palace.  Please join in celebrating this year’s team of Hospital Heroes and contact the FHA Education Department at education@fha.org to reserve your hospital’s table at the awards dinner. Additional information and details on the awards dinner will be shared with the finalists and the hospital PR/Marketing  departments later this week.

Thank you to the team members who nominated their peers for this year’s awards, and a special thanks to our team of judges from the Georgia Hospital Association. According to the judges, the candidates were exceptional and the judging difficult. This is a testament to the tireless commitment of all who give of themselves to serve others.
